Normal to Dry skin requires careful upkeep to maintain optimal functioning of the glands and healthy circulation due to of environmental and ecological influences, aging processes, and everyday stress. Dry skin can result from impaired water content & reduced sebaceous gland activity.

Oily Skin


Oily skin is characterized by increased function of the sebaceous glands, producing oil, causing it to appear greasy & shiny. In oily skin the sebaceous glands are overactive, resulting in a coarse textured surface and enlarged pores. Usually found between the ages of 13 and 30, when skin activity is heightened by hormonal changes.

Acne Skin


Acne is characterized by both chronic inflammatory/non-inflammatory lesions, open & closed comedones (blackheads & whiteheads). There are complex factors involve in pathogeneses of acne, such as hormonal imbalances, overactive sebaceous glands and existence of specific bacterial flora.
